Dear Friends,

I wanted to share with you that we had a wonderful night at our annual Community of Caring celebration.

In addition to recognizing some impressive Heroes Against Hate - all of whom had something special to share - we also named one of the awards for Hersh Goldberg-Polin and we honored Rabbi Stephen Gold with our Lifetime Achievement Award.

Our County Prosecutor, Bradley Billheimer, joined us and applauded all of our Heroes. We also welcomed new board members and thanked our donors and supporters. 130 joined us in person for this fun evening…and I hope the ten or so who gave last minute regrets due to illness feel better.

It was a wonderful night, which also showcased the impact the Jewish Federation has in our community. If you were there - please tell your friends. If you couldn’t join us…you were missed.

As we approach the end of the year, I also want to thank all of our supporters for your contributions. And if you have not yet had the opportunity to make a contribution…tis the season.

May we all have a light-filled Chanuka and a better new year.
