It deserves it's own movie!
I would want to see the struggle she must have gone through to reconnect with Sero.
I have no issue with what her family did to enable her emigration.
Hannah obviously felt indebted to Sero's family. It would have been interesting to see more of her life, if they had worked together to tell the story of both of them.
I also would like to have learned more about Hannah's journey and life after she left, and what happened after she reunited with Sero. Maybe a sequel?

Amazing how people of different faiths lived together without the flagrant hostility that is stoked today.
