3/5 Belonging and Relationship Building Via Perspective Honoring, Wednesday, March 5th at 3pm: Join Jewish Federations’ Center for Jewish Belonging for a conversation about honoring the perspectives of others, increasing empathy and cultivating authentic relationships with people you disagree with. This workshop will teach the mechanics of the framework, and participants will also practice the framework in real-time and take home resources for them to utilize in building bridges through dignified inquiry. 

3/26 The Challenge of Our Times: Belonging and Othering, Wednesday, March 26th at 3pm ET: The root of all inequality is the process of othering – and its solution is the practice of belonging. Join Jewish Federations’ Center for Jewish Belonging for an important discussion with John Powell of the Belonging and Othering Institute. We all yearn for connection and community, but we live in a time when calls for further division along the well-wrought lines of religion, race, ethnicity, caste, and sexuality are pervasive. Belonging without Othering prescribes a new approach that encourages us to turn toward one another in unprecedented and radical ways.
