The Jewish Federation of Ocean County’s Jewish Family and Children’s Service (JFCS) is a state-licensed mental health facility with a sliding scale fee for any client and remains the only remaining agency that still provides in-home mental health counseling sessions.
Among the programs offered by JFCS include:
One of the unique feature that enables JFCS to serve so many senior residents is its mini-bus service that brings senior citizens to the programs at the office of the Jewish Federation of Ocean County and then drives them home at the conclusion of the program. This mini-bus service also enables many seniors to participate in other activities, such as day trips to the beach, to the movies, out for lunch and other entertaining activities.

Participation of the Senior Citizen socialization group in the six (6) week Stanford University program: Taking Control of Your Health.
Various Community presentations prompting healthy aging and healthy family relationships.
Provided over $100,000.00 in financial support to Hurricane Sandy victims.
